Koreen Mazurek Country Coordinator Chile

Koreen has always been passionate about Christian education. Since childhood, she has wanted to be a teacher, though she desired a setting and purpose outside of the typical classroom.

For the past fourteen years, Koreen has been dedicated to teaching her children about the Lord and His Word. For the past seven years, she has been training and guiding parents to embrace the powerful responsibility and anointed blessing of instructing their children in His ways. She is passionate about leading families to Christ through the sharpening of their minds and hearts in education.

In 2018, Koreen and her family discovered Classical Conversations when a family with CC experience arrived in Chile. They began the first community together in Santiago, Chile, with thirteen families. Koreen’s family experienced with CC a renewed love for learning, growing the entire family academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Through God’s continued faithfulness, Classical Conversations communities have grown exponentially in Chile from a single community in 2018 to thirty-three communities in 2021 to a need for 50–60 communities for the 2022 academic year. Koreen faithfully leads as the Country Coordinator of Chile and the Area Representative of South America. In 2018 and 2019, Classical Conversations was limited in Chile to bilingual families. However, once key resources like the Foundations guide were translated into Spanish in 2020, the door was wide open for Hispanic families around the world to experience the joys of home education with Classical Conversations.

Koreen desires to witness Hispanic families, who have lived their entire lives under the shadows of communism and socialism, stand in faith to provide their children with an education that honors the will of God, their Father and Creator. CC is providing the vehicle to know God and make Him known in their own households and communities.

“Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
